Flannel & Fling Festival

A weekend-long celebration of Wyoming’s crisp autumn air. We encourage guests to wear their favorite flannel and join our open-to-all “trick shot” competition.

Festival with Showcase Competition: A casual, open-house style event. A specific “trick shot” competition is held at scheduled times, where participants attempt difficult throws for prizes.

Hatchets & Harvest

A family-friendly Halloween event with pumpkin-themed targets, costume contests for all ages, and special non-alcoholic “witches brew” cider.

Themed Activity Night: A non-competitive event focused on fun activities. Guests can throw at pumpkin targets and participate in a costume contest with judging and prizes for different categories.

November

Turkey Toss

A charity-focused team tournament held in the spirit of Thanksgiving. A portion of all proceeds will be donated to a local Cheyenne food bank to support our community.

Charity Team Tournament: A structured tournament where teams of four pay an entry fee to compete in a bracket. A portion of the proceeds is donated to a designated local charity.

December

Holiday Hatchet-Thon

A festive, month-long celebration perfect for company holiday parties and family gatherings. Features “ugly holiday sweater” nights and special group packages.

Group Booking Promotion: The focus is on special, tiered packages for large groups (e.g., 10+ people) that include throwing, food, and drinks, designed for corporate holiday parties.

New Year, New Skill

Kick off the year with a “Learn to Throw” package for two. This month-long promotion encourages couples and friends to set a new, adventurous tone for the year.

Promotional Package: A discounted, fixed-price package for two people that includes a one-hour throwing session and dedicated coaching. Available for booking throughout the entire month.

February

Cupid’s Quarrel

7:00PM

A competitive and fun date night tournament. Couples compete in a series of fun throwing games to be crowned Cheyenne’s sharpest couple. A perfect Valentine’s alternative.

Couples Tournament: A bracket-style, single-elimination tournament. Each match consists of a series of fun, non-standard games instead of standard scoring.

Spring Break Bullseye Bash

2:00^PM to 4^PM

With Laramie County schools on break, this event offers a daytime, family-focused package with axe throwing, arcade games, and a family-friendly menu.

Special Timed Offer: A discounted package available only on weekdays during specific daytime hours to attract families when school is out.

Hometown Heroes Month

9:00^PM to 21^PM

A month-long appreciation event offering a special discount for all military, veterans, and first responders, culminating in a special appreciation night.

The appreciation night is a social gathering with an optional, informal high-score challenge.

Mom Throws Best

A Mother’s Day special where Mom throws for free when accompanied by her family. A unique and empowering way to celebrate the moms in our community.

When a family books a lane for three or more people, the mother’s spot is free. Applicable for the entire Mother’s Day weekend.

Dad’s Day Duel

A friendly father/child tournament for Father’s Day weekend. The perfect bonding experience with a special prize for the top-scoring duo.

Team High-Score Tournament: Teams of two (father/child) compete. Each team throws a set number of rounds, and their scores are combined. The team with the highest total score at the end wins.

Our events are designed for all ages, we have equipment for kiddos and adults.

What exactly is axe throwing?

Axe throwing is a sport where you throw a hatchet at a wooden target, trying to hit as close to the bullseye as possible. It’s similar to darts but on a much more exciting scale! It’s a fun, safe, and empowering activity for individuals, families, and groups.

Do I need any experience to throw an axe?

Not at all! The vast majority of our guests are first-time throwers. Every session begins with a mandatory safety briefing and one-on-one coaching from our trained instructors. They will teach you the proper technique to throw safely and help you stick your first bullseye.

Is axe throwing safe?

Yes, safety is our absolute number one priority. Our facility is designed for safety with fully enclosed lanes. An expert “Adventure Coach” is always present to provide instruction, oversee all throwing, and ensure safety rules are followed at all times.

What should I wear for axe throwing?

For your safety, closed-toe shoes are mandatory for everyone entering the throwing area. Other than that, we recommend comfortable, non-restrictive clothing that allows for a full range of motion, similar to what you might wear for bowling or other light physical activities.

Do you accept walk-ins?

We do accept walk-ins based on lane availability. However, to avoid disappointment, we strongly recommend making a reservation online, particularly for groups or during our peak hours on evenings and weekends.

Can I bring my own food or drinks?

We do not permit any outside food or beverages. We are proud to partner with Paris West to offer a fantastic menu of delicious food, local craft beers, and other non-alcoholic drinks to enjoy during your visit.
